What do ceramides do in skincare?

Ceramides are the skin's own protective fats that act as a "glue" between skin cells, holding the outermost layer of the skin together. As we age, the skin produces fewer ceramides, making the skin barrier thinner and the skin drier and more sensitive. In cold and dry air, the skin's lipid balance is compromised and ceramides break down faster, which can lead to tightness and irritation. This is why skincare containing skin-identical ceramides is especially important during winter and for mature or dry skin – it helps replace what the skin loses itself and strengthens the barrier.

What is the difference between Calming Cloud Cream, Rich Cream, Light Cream, and Retinol Cream?

Calming Cloud Cream is a lightweight yet intensely hydrating cream that provides comfort and radiance without feeling heavy. Compared to the Rich Cream, it has a lighter texture, and it provides more hydration than the Light Cream. Unlike the Retinol Cream, it contains no active exfoliating ingredients, making it suitable for daily use, both morning and evening.

What skin type is the product suitable for?

Our cream is dermatologically tested for sensitive skin and is suitable for all skin types. It also contains a powerful peptide complex with a distinct anti-aging effect, making it an excellent choice for those who want to keep their skin looking youthful for as long as possible.

Is it suitable for oily and acne-prone skin?

Calming Cloud Cream is formulated not to clog pores. However, if you prefer a completely oil-free moisturizer, we recommend Hydrating Light Cream instead.

Is Calming Cloud Cream good for dry and sensitive skin?

Yes, Calming Cloud Cream is specifically formulated for sensitive skin with moisturizing ceramides, cica, and soothing chamomile that counteract red and sensitive skin, and it is dermatologically tested for sensitive skin.

In what order do I use the product?

The cream works well as both a day and night cream. Apply after cleansing and serum/BHA exfoliation. You can use Calming Cloud Cream in combination with all of Bagliora’s other products. It is particularly well-suited for use with a serum underneath, such as Hydra Ferulic Serum or Collagen Superfood Serum.
